Late 1950s 1960's 2 pc Vintage Rooster Shorts w/ Matching Blouse

This adorable Heritage black and red vintage short set is from the late 1950's or early 1960's. The blouse is a red floral cotton with peter pan collar and the fabric of the blouse is that same as the fabric used for the rooster applique on the black pique high waisted shorts. The shorts have a side metal zipper and no longer have their original belt, but you can wear them with a simple black or red ribbon or with a simple black belt.  This vintage shorts ensemble is in excellent condition and ready to wear!
